Hoch-Ybrig is a winter sports area in the Schwyz area of Switzerland and has a wild terrain consisting of the snow topped mountain ranges of Forstberg - Druesberg - Twäriberg and is easily accessible from Zurich. The area sits in a beautiful, alpine foothill location that is known as Switzerland's oldest place of pilgrimage to Einsiedeln dating back to medieval times. The ski slopes in the resort extend between the villages of Oberiberg and Unteriberg and there are 50km in total with 12 lifts, and the winter sports area is at elevations of between 1,040m and 1,831m with the season running from December up until April. The ski runs are suitable for various levels of ability including novices and family groups and they consist of 15km of blue runs, 30km of red runs and 5km of black runs for more experienced skiiers. In addition to a valley run the resort has snow making equipment to ensure a perfect holiday experience for visitors, and for cross-country skiiers there are various trails and also a ski cross park. Facilities also include an area for children, a fun park and many good restaurants as well as a number of other scenic, Swiss villages to visit.
