Essentially, the ski resort called Rofan – Maurach is located at the Southern-most tip of Lake Achen. What’s great about the Achensee/Maurach/Rofan winter sports area is that it is also remarkably close to areas like Pertisau, Jenbach, Kramsach, Achenkirk, Achental, Steinberg am Rofan, Brandenberger Alpen, and Stans. Venturiong out to Achensee – Maurach is easy thanks to it being in close proximity to the city of Innsbruck in Austria, and Munich in Germany.
